Mangalore, Sep 18, 2014: MLA J R Lobo inaugurated the drinking water facility by the civic body to the residents of Adamkudru, Jappinamogaru, here on Tuesday September 16. It was long-pending demand of residents of Adamkudru, since the past 3 decades that was fulfilled with the earnest efforts of MLA Lobo.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Lobo said that the state government has formed task force Committee to provide drinking water supply in the urban areas.
The mayor Mahabala Marla said that Adamkudru locality needed drinking water facility as the residents living on the banks of Netravati River were sourcing saline water for every purpose. The municipal water was supplied on priority basis to the locality of Adamkudru, said mayor Mahabala.
Permannur parish priest Fr Anil Rupesh Madta, deputy mayor Kavita, steering Committee president Ashok Kumar, corporators B Surendra and Praveenchandra Alva, Umeschandra, T K Sudhir, Walter Lobo, Herbert D’Souza, Demmy D’Souza, Ramanand Poojary, Denis D’Silva, Krutin Kumar, Gilbert D’Souza, Ashok Kudupady and others were present.
