Mohammed Imad was the first to be admitted this year in the private hospital in Attavar for dog-bite. The hospital authorities said that the child’s condition was “steady” and that Mohammed was responding well to treatment. The child was shifted from the post-operative ward to the general wards on Friday evening. “We are happy to see the child smile and slowly recover from his wounds,” said Mohammed’s uncle Nasir Hussain.
Mayor Mahabala Marla and corporator Aziz Kudroli on Thursday evening visited Mohiuddin Nagar. Mangalore South MLA J.R. Lobo saw the boy in hospital.
