Mangalore, Aug 8:  State Health and family Welfare Minister UT Khader paid a visit and inspected the newly constructed mortuary and the newly setup Sewage Treatment Plant at Wenlock Hospital on Friday August 8.

Addressing the media on the sidelines he said that, the newly constructed mortuary has upgraded facilities including better seating arrangements, lighting and drinking water facilities.

Khader said that the government has given permission to include additional 150 ambulances like 108 Arogya Kavacha to the state.

He also said that in order to detect and prevent the Ebola virus, the health department has taken measures to screen Mangalore and Bangalore airport passengers from August 9.

Further, he would work to provide better facilities at Wenlock Hospital and make it a model hospital in the state.
