Mangaluru, 11 Mar 2015: Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing organized annual day and graduation ceremony at A J Institute of Medical Sciences auditorium here on Tuesday March 10 at 4.00pm.
Mangaluru south MLA J R Lobo was the chief guest of the occasion, stressed on the importance of nursing education in democratic country like India.
Professor Dr Narayanayya of NIMHANS, Bangalore was the guest of honor. He highlighted on importance of courtesy and sympathy towards patients along with the nursing education.
A J Shetty, chairman of Laxmi Memorial Education Trust presided r the function and congratulated the graduates for their achievements.
Prashanth Shetty, deputy chairman of Laxmi Memorial Education Trust, Ashritha P Shetty, director of Laxmi Memorial Education Trust, Dr Larissa Martha Sams, principal of Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing, vice principal Dr Theresa Leonilda Mendonca and all heads of departments, staff, students and parents were present on the occasion.
Graduates were awarded with the certificates and the medals. Programme was followed by the cultural events followed by dinner.
