Mangaluru, 1 Feb 2015: Mangaluru south MLA J R Lobo inaugurated the concreted main road of Subash Nagar, Patel Compound in 45th port ward here on Saturday January 31. The road was concreted @ Rs 16 lac under MLA Lobo and corporator’s fund.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Lobo said, ‘It’s my duty to fulfill the demands of voters who voted me. I aspire to make my constituency a model with basic amenities such as beter roads, drinking water and underground drainage. The main road from Hoige Bazaar railway track to Marigudi temple in port ward will be developed shortly,’ said MLA Lobo.
The port ward corporator Abdul Latif, Congress leaders Ramanand Poojary, Krutin Kumar, Gururaj, Praveen, Lalita Poonja of Patel House, Savitri Shetty, Gopal Rai, Yashwant Kotian, Herbert D’Souza, Shivanand, Umesh Shetty, Ravi kottari, Srinivas, Nalinakshi, Dayavati, Devaki, Sumitra, Vijay Fernandes, Melvyn, Anish, Irshad, Kabir, Booba, Chandrahas Kotian, Santosh Rai and others were present.
