Mangalore, 23 Oct 2014: MLA J R Lobo celebrated Deepavali by laying foundation for various development works in his Mangalore south constituency @ Rs 2.31 crore here on Thursday October 23.
The foundation laid for various development works in wards of Jappinamogaru, Kodialbail, Shaktinagar, Attavar, Maroli and Alape north in municipal limits.
Jappinamogaru Kallatadame Road – Rs 40 lac, Kodialbail – Vivek Nagar for different development works Rs 76 lac, in Shaktinagar ward Meginamane Road development works Rs 25 lac, Attavar ward Babugudde Road works Rs 25 lac, Maroli ward Nattimane Road development Rs 25 lac, Alape ward Kannagudde Road development works Rs 40 lac.
MLA Lobo said that the interior roads in municipal limits are withered which will be restored shortly.
The mayor Mahabala Marla, corporators Prakash Salian, K Zubaida, Shailaja, Keshav Maroli, B Prakash, Devappa Suvarna, Gangadar Poojary, Jayant Poojary, Congress leaders Kallige Taranat Shetty, Abdul Aziz, T K Sudhir, Denis D’Silva, Ramanand Poojary, Krutin Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
