Mangaluru: “There is enough space to construct a good market facility at Alike in Mangaluru city. Therefore, a weekly market (Vaarada Santhe) should be started in Alike and separate stalls should be constructed for meat, fish, vegetables and fruits,” said MLA JR Lobo on Thursday after making a review on the Alike area where new market felicity is expected to be build.
“There are enough opportunities to develop Alike market as a model market in Mangaluru,” he pointed out. MLA asked the concerned authorities to prepare plans and submit the same to him on how to build a good market felicity in the location. Mangalore City Corporation officials Srinivasa, Yashawantha and others were present on the occasion.
