Mangalore: S.R Patil, Minister for Information Technology, Biotechnology, Science and Technology, Planning and Statistics visited Pilikula Science Centre on Saturday, September 13.
He reviewed the progress of works related to the establishment of a regional science centre in Mangalore.
Addressing the press he stated “Government has planned to establish regional science centers across the state to create scientific temper among students and public on science related matters. Several works have been already initiated with regards to the establishment of the centers”.
He further said “Government will also set up a 3D planetarium at a cost of Rs.24.50 crore at Pilikula in Mangalore”.
He was accompanied by J.R Lobo, MLA, Mangalore (South), B.A. Mohiuddin Bava, MLA, Mangalore (North) and other officials.
