Mangalore, Aug 9 : Bearys Cultural Forum (BCF), a Dubai based NRIs’ philanthropic organization will conduct ‘BCF Educational Scholarship Meet-2014’ on Sunday, August 10 at Loyola Hall in St Aloysius College in Mangalore.
Addressing the media persons on Friday at Mangalore Press Club, President of BCF Dr B K Yusuf said that more than 500 meritorious students from poor background will receive the scholarship.
He said that Health Minister U T Khader would inaugurate a career guidance camp for the students at 9 a.m.
MLA J R Lobo, former Minister B A Moideen, Thumbay Ahmed Haji will be the guests of honour.
Dr Kaup Muhammad and Umar U H will deliver speech on education and employment opportunities on the occasion.
C M Ibrahim will inaugurate the scholarship meet.
Ramanath Rai, Vinay Kumar Sorake, MLA Moideen Bawa, Capt Ganesh Karnik, Ivan D’Souza, Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim, Bearys Group Chairman Sayyed Beary, B M Farooq of Fiza Group, Moideen Thumbay of Gulf Medical University, Nazimuddin Muhammad of Petropack Dubai, Praveen Shetty of Fortune Group will be present on the occasion.
Yenepoya University Vice Chancellor Dr P Chandramohan will also be present.
