Mangaluru: Infrastructure facilities like expansion, construction of roads, construction of foot paths and others will be done in the city at an estimated cost of Rs 500 crore in the next three years, said MLA JR Lobo speaking after stone laying ceremony form various road construction, expansion projects at 24th ward of south Derebail in the city on Sunday.

Speaking to the gathering he said, “estimations, plans for the development of Mangaluru city have been made at a cost of Rs 2000 crores. Mangalureans paying their taxes on time and this will help the government to implement the development projects at right time,” he pointed out.

Guddali Pooja held on the occasion by the MLA to upgrade the third cross road located behind Infosys into concrete road at a cost of Rs 99.75 lakh and to upgrade Kotekani main road into concrete road at a cost of Rs 15 lakh.

MLA JR Lobo inaugurated newly constructed concrete road located at 24 ward from Kottara cross to Daddalkad in the Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) area limits on Monday. The road was constructed at a cost of Rs 2 crore.
