Mangaluru, 7 Apr 2015: Bharat Seva Dal, Mangaluru taluk unit on Tuesday April 7 organized two-day Leadership workshop for school children at Government Higher Primary School, Nalyapadavu, Shaktinagar here.

Around 100 students from nearly 28 government schools are taking part in the workshop.

Mangaluru south MLA J R Lobo, in his key address, urged the teachers not to neglect any child. ‘Every child is a miracle and can surprise all of us. Along with books, extra curricular activities should also be assigned to the children, said MLA Lobo.

Studying entire day without engaging in any extra curricular activity can lead a child to depression and this is obvious in the metros, added MLA Lobo.

The mayor Jacinta Vijay Alfred inaugurated the workshop.

The entrepreneur Ganesh Kuntalapady presided the function.

Bharat Seva Dal Mangaluru taluk president Prabhakar Sriyan, district secretary T K Sudhir, taluk secretary Uday Kundar, corporator Akhila Alva, former mayor Abdul Aziz, Ravindra, Shekar Poojary and Manje Gowda were present.
