Mangaluru, 05 Sep 2015: MLA J R Lobo laid the foundation for constructing a culvert on Kadri Kambla Road, laying storm water drains drainage and 360 meters of footpath here on Friday September 4.
Addressing media persons, MLA Lobo said the works will be undertaken @ Rs 2.30 crore. The tender process has been already over, and work will be undertaken at the earliest to complete the same in 3 months. Nearly 360 meters of drains and footpath, 10 culverts and ducts, concrete road, minor bridge and retaining wall are included in the abovementioned works. Besides, the footpaths will be developed in all roads across the city by utilizing Premium FAR funds, said MLA Lobo.
The local corporator Prakash Salian, Sudhir Shetty, former mayor Sasidar Hegde, corporator Lancelot Pinto, Rajanish, Latif and others were present.
