Mangaluru, November 5: The health and family minister UT Khader has instructed to take appropriate actions to provide best treatment at the Wenlock Hospital with the current facilities available.
He inspected the various up-gradation works undertaken at the hospital on Wednesday, November 5th.
He said, apart from providing good medication with the current facilities, up-gradation projects of the basic infrastructure must also be planned. Mainly the operation theatre has to be modernised. Special wards have to be opened for dialysis and if it is necessary number of dialysis machines would be raised to 10 at Wenlock hospital, he added.
Government would conduct an inspection to open the branches of the renowned hospitals of the state such as Kidwai Cancer Hospital, Nimhans Hospital and Jayadeva Hospital at Mangaluru. He directed the deputy commissioner to demarcate the land for the purpose.
An administrator would be appointed at Wenlock hospital. The senior doctors must be present when the PG students treat the patients and also the medicines for the snake bite is already dispatched to all government hospitals, he said.
The government has planned to provide medicines to Haemophilia disease through the Medical college hospitals revealed minister Khader.
