Mangalore, Jul 5: The people of Adam Kudru were facing problems with regards to the drinking water and this issue was already brought to the notice of Mangalore South MLA, J R Lobo, during his earlier visits. The locals were sometimes even forced to drink salt water. Hence taking this issue seriously, MLA had ordered for a drinking water pipeline installation from Nethravathi Bridge to Adam Kudru Church.
The project has already been started and the total estimated cost is Rs 17 lacs and the works are to be carried out at the earliest possible, said MLA. During his visit to the inspection today, the public themselves expressed their joy and happiness due to the pipeline works carried out.
