Mangalore, Oct 24, 2014: Mangalore South MLA JR Lobo laid foundation for developmental works worth Rs 2.31 crores in Jeppinamogaru, Kodialbail, Shaktinagar, Attavar, Maroli and Alape and other wards on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.
The projects include Jeppinamogaru Kallatadame Road development at a cost of Rs 40 kakhs, Projects worth Rs 76 lakhs at Viveknagar in Kodialbail, development of Shaktinagar Meginamane Road,Attavar Babugudde Road and Nattimane road of Maroli at a cost of Rs 25 lakhs each and development of Kannagudde road in Alape at a cost of Rs 40 lakhs.
In his address, Lobo while extending his heartiest Diwali greetings to the people of Mangalore assured that development of many other interior roads of the city would be taken up in the days to come.
Mahabala Maarla, Mayor of Mangalore, Prakash Salian, K Jubaida, Shailaja, Keshava Maroli, B Prakash, corporators, Congress leaders Kallige Taranath Shetty, Abdul Azeez, TK Sudhir, Jayakar Samartha and others were present.
