Mangalore: MLA JR Lobo called for a meeting with HPCL officials on Friday after Prakash M.D, petroleum dealer with the HPCL, who sat on a protest, alleged that he was trapped in a fraud case, which led to the cancellation of his dealership.
MLA JR Lobo said that he would write a letter to the Central Vigilance Commission to inquire into the case.
Meanwhile, MLA asked the HPCL officials to reconsider Prakash M.D’s dealership and provide 8 KL of diesel and 4KL of petrol (which costs Rs 8 lakh ) on loan, subjecting to some guarantee, as Prakash pointed out that he had no money with him to restart business.
MLA asked Prakash to withdraw dharna.
