Mangalore, Nov 1, 2013 : MLA J R Lobo inaugurated Karavali Siri building – the refurbished office of Mangalore Coastal Fishermen’s Multipurpose Co-operative Society, South Wharf, Bunder, here on Thursday October 31.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Lobo urged the fisheries community to be mindful of eco-environment that is the need for everyone for a healthy living, urged MLA Lobo.
MLA Lobo assured all the assistance for the fisherwomen from state authorities.
Undivided Dakshina Kannada district Fisheries Marketing Federation president Yashpal Suvarna presided the function.

Mangalore Coastal Fishermen’s Multipurpose Co-operative Society chairman Gopalakrishna Kundar, Karnataka Fisheries Development Corporation chairman V K Shetty, city advocate S K Ullal, Urwa – Marigudi temple managing trustee Manohar Boloor, Hadinalkupatna Mogaveera Mahasabha president Rajeev Kanchan, Dakshina Kannada Mahajana Sabha – Ucchila former chief secretary advocate H Gangadar Karkera were the guests of honor.

Mangalore Coastal Fishermen’s Multipurpose Co-operative Society has plans to launch gold loans and recurring deposit schemes for the fisheries community at lower the interest rate of other banking institutions.
