Mangalore: “B.Janardhan Poojary, Congress MP candidate, Dakshina Kannada, had facilitated the autorickshaw drivers to take loan through Banks for purchasing autorickshaw. This paved way for the drivers to become owners of the autorickshaw,” said B.Ramanath Rai, minister for forest, ecology and environment and district in-charge minister.
He was speaking to presspersons on Saturday, April 12 during the election campaign for Janardhan Poojary at RTO Autorickshaw Park in Mangalore.
“Congress party implemented many projects for the poor families. Congress candidate Janardhan Poojary has the special concern towards workers and poor people. All the people including autorickshaw drivers should vote for Congress,” Rai requested.
Ramanath Rai along with other leaders of the party visited State Bank, Rao and Rao, Central MarketMarket, Vishwa Bhavan, Railway Station and various other autorickshaw stands and requested the drivers to support Janardhan Poojary in the upcoming LS elections.
J.R. Lobo, MLA, B.H. Khader, Congress leader, T.K. Sudhir, Santhosh Shetty, B.K. Idinabba, Nazir Bajal, Mohammad Nawaz, Ramananda Poojari, Dinesh Alva, Kamalaksha Saliyan, D.M. Aslam, Deepak Rao, B.N. Suresh, Vishwas Kumar Das were present on the occasion.
